In order to implement the requirements of four most stringent of the Party Central Committee, further strengthening the supervision of food production enterprises, according to the entrustment of the State Administration for Market Regulation on the issuance of the Notice concerning the food production enterprises unannounced inspection plan in 2018 , CFDI organized seven inspection teams to 11 provinces from 4 June to 10 June, and carried out the first batch of food unannounced inspections for 17 food production enterprises .
The production scope of this announced inspection covered 20 varieties including health food, special dietary food, starch and starch products, vegetable products, potato and puffed foods. Under the active cooperation of the local food and drug administration, the inspection teams found more than 300 defects or problems in the six-day inspection, with an average of 18 problems found in each enterprise. The problems found mainly focus on the production environment, facilities and equipment, hygiene management, crude food materials and food additive management, product checkout and so on.
The unannounced inspection of this batch of food production enterprises follows the principle of "double random and one disclosure". After receiving the unannounced inspection mission, carefully prepare, establish scientific and feasible standard operating procedures and on-site inspection schemes, and edit the unannounced inspection work manual for the inspectors. In the process of unannounced inspection, we have received the support and guidance from the Office One of Food and Drug Administration of the original China Food and Drug Administration, and the relevant departments, and also received the cooperation from the provincial food and drug administration. The inspectors from the inspection teams are responsible and hardworking and fulfilled the mission whatever the less time, heavy task, long distance and poor working conditions.
According to the deployment and acquirements of the State Administration for Market Regulation, CFDI will continue to strengthen the unannounced inspection of food production enterprises with high risk level on the basis of conscientiously summarizing the experience and shortcomings of the first unannounced inspection.
