For further study on implementation of Xi Jinping, general secretary of the requirements of "the four most strict", promote the cosmetics inspector team construction, enhance the national cosmetic inspector ability level, according to the NMPA's annual training plan and the arrangement of cosmetics supervision department, Center for Food and Drug Inspection of NMPA (hereinafter referred to as the "CFDI") and National Medical Product Administration Institute of Executive Development held the annual second phase of cosmetics inspector training course during November 22 to 28, 2020.

This training class is divided into two parts: classroom teaching and on-site teaching. During classroom teaching, teaching experts give a training on the regulations on the supervision and administration of cosmetics and cosmetic registration for the record and post-marketing surveillance laws and regulations, cosmetics inspector responsibility and ability request, on-site inspection and audit skills and the key points of cosmetics on-site inspection, production process knowledge and other content and the honest education to the inspector has been carried by the member of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of CFDI. In the on-site teaching, trainees went to the cosmetics production enterprises to participate in the field simulation inspection in groups, and the advanced inspector gave practical operation guidance to the trainees to consolidate the classroom learning results.

A total of 25 national cosmetics inspectors and 75 candidates recommended by provincial food and drug administration and affiliated unites of NMPA attended this training. In order to ensure the training effect, the assessment and evaluation measures are set up after the two parts.

Participants said that the design of the training course is scientific and reasonable, the content is comprehensive and substantial, the teachers are rich in experience, so that students benefit a lot. Some teachers adopted interactive teaching methods, which enabled students to have a deeper and better understanding of inspection techniques and methods through case discussion, which was quite popular among students. This training has achieved the expected results and will play a positive role in promoting the construction and capacity improvement of cosmetic inspector team in China.
