The Fifth Experts’ Forum Was Held at CFDI in 2021

In order to promote the capacity of inspectorate, and continuously improve the professional skills and comprehensive quality of the inspectors, CFDI held the fifth experts’ forum on September 16, 2021. Zhang Qiang, Professor of Peking University, was invited and gave a lecture with the topic of "Research Status and Quality Control of Nanomedicine".


Professor Zhang gave a comprehensive introduction to the nanomedicine from definition to the research and marketing status at China and abroad, and explained in detail the "Technical Guidelines for of Nanomedicine Quality Control Research", focusing on the quality control indicators, quality evaluation, and whole-process quality control of nanomedicine. Professor Zhang's lectures are rich in content, increase the knowledge reserve of inspectors, and have an important guiding value for the inspection of nanomedicine.

Professor Zhang has rich experience in drug preparation research and development, he has been long served as an academic member of pharmaceutics Committee of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, his main research area is the research and development of new high-end pharmaceutical preparations and he has successively undertaken national 973 Program, National Major New Drug Innovation Project, National 863 Program, Major Projects of Natural Science Foundation, key projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, etc.

CFDI, Yangtze River Delta sub center for drug evaluation, Greater Bay Area sub Center for drug evaluation and 23 provincial drugs inspectorates synchronously watching through video system participated in the training; totally more than 400 people participated in the training.
