In order to promote the capacity of inspectorate, and improve the professional skills and comprehensive quality of the inspectors, CFDI held the eleventh experts’ forum on November 2. At this forum, Dr. Gary Bruce Lane, were invited to give a lecture on “New Technical Medical Product and its Inspection Points”.

Dr. Gary introduced the new technical medical products from four aspects of continuous manufacturing, biologics, process analysis technology (PAT) and clean in place (CIP), and emphasized the key processes of various new technologies and analyzed the production quality control (GMP) inspection risk points. Gary's lecture enhanced the participants' understanding of cutting-edge technologies in the medical field, and provided knowledge reserve for the inspectors to carry out the inspection of new technical medical products.

CFDI, the Center of Beijing Drug Certification, the Center of Beijing Drug Review, and 25 provincial drugs inspectorates from the whole country synchronously watching through video system participated in the training, totally more than 360 person participated in the training.
