To earnestly implement the spirit of important instructions that construction of professional food inspector team raised by Xi Jinping, unify food unannounced-inspection procedures and standards, ensure inspection efficiency, prevent incorrupt risk, under the guidance of the Office of Food Safety Supervision of the State Administration for Market Regulation, CFDI successfully held the first national training course for food unannounced-inspection inspectors on October 29 to 31, 2018 in Beijing. Gu Shaoping, deputy director of the Office of Food Safety Supervision, Li Jianming, deputy director of CFDI, and Shi Lei, deputy director of CFDI, attended and addressed at the meeting.
This training course focuses on the unannounced-inspection of food production enterprises. Teachers from CFDI and experts invited outside were respectively trained on the procedures and related requirements of food unannounced-inspection, relevant national safety standards of unannounced-inspection, food supervision and inspection practices, environmental control of food production and air purification technology, as well as the discipline of inspection work. And the senior inspectors were arranged to share inspection experience.
A total of 145 inspectors recommended by the State Administration of Market Supervision, CFDI and the food and drug administration attached to provinces, municipalities or autonomous regions, participated in the training. The examination was set up to guarantee the training efficacy. All the participants said that the course design was reasonable and the content is professional and practical, which is of great reference significance for the supervision work.
After the training, in accordance with the principle of double random, participants were divided into 30 groups to carry out unannounced-inspections of 68 food safety production enterprises in various provinces and cities in our country, further improving the training effectiveness in practice.
