In order to promote the capacity of inspectorate, and improve the professional skills and comprehensive quality of the inspectors, CFDI held the twelfth experts’ forum on December 25. At this forum, Yu Mingde, the director of China Pharmaceutical Enterprises Association, were invited to give a lecture on “Review and Prospect”.

Derector Yu Mingde reviewed the rapid development of the pharmaceutical industry in the past 40 years of reform and opening-up, and focused on the new situation of drug supervision under the principle of “inside reform and external environment”, expounding the importance of good policies for the healthy development of the pharmaceutical industry, and prospected the future of China's pharmaceutical industry through the importance of preparations internationalization and biotechnology innovation. The lecture of the director was rich in content and wide-ranging, which made the participants deeply aware of the importance of drug regulatory reform.

Director Yu Mingde served as Director of the Liaoning Provincial Medicine Administration, Director of the Finance and Market Circulation Department of the State Medical Administration, Director of the Medicine Department of the State Economic and Trade Commission, and Deputy Director of the Economic Development Bureau of the National Development and Reform Commission, has rich experience and international vision on medicine management.

CFDI, the Center of Beijing Drug Certification, the Center of Beijing Drug Review, and 23 provincial drugs inspectorates from the whole country synchronously watching through video system participated in the training, totally more than 290 person participated in the training.
