In order to promote the capacity of inspectorate, and improve the professional skills and comprehensive quality of the inspectors, CFDI held the second experts’ forum on March 1, 2019. Tang Minhao, the President of Shanghai food and drug safety research association, was invited to give a lecture on "Drug regulatory reform and legal innovation for the new era".

President Tang elaborated on the new challenges faced by China's drug regulation in the new era. Combining with the practical experience and research results of drug regulation, he made an overall elaboration and shared his thoughts on the reconstruction of drug regulatory system, the establishment of scientific regulatory concept, the improvement of drug legal system and the social governance of drug safety. President Tang's lecture is in-depth explanation, systematic and comprehensive, which has important guiding significance to find the right position and implement well for the drug inspection in the new era of drug regulatory policy and legal framework.

Tang Minhao, former deputy director of Shanghai Food and Drug Administration, deputy President of China Health Law Society, director of Shanghai Municipal Government Legal Affairs Office, has rich experience in the field of drug supervision and medical legal affairs.

The Office of Drug Registration of NMPA, The Office of Drug Supervision of NMPA, CDE, CFDI, the Center of Beijing Drug Certification, and 23 provincial drugs inspectorates from the whole country synchronously watching through video system participated in the training, totally more than 420 person participated in the training.
