In order to promote the capacity of inspectorate, and improve the professional skills and comprehensive quality of the inspectors, CFDI held the forth experts’ forum on May 30, 2019. Li Huiyi, the director of Chemical Drugs standards division of the State Pharmacopoeia Commission, was invited to give a lecture on “the preparation of Chinese Pharmacopoeia (part ii) and the national drug standard improvement action (chemical drugs)”.

Director Li Huiyi is engaged in the research on the quality of chemical drugs and the preparation and revision of drug national standards. She is responsible for organizing and compilation of the Chinese pharmacopoeia (part ii), the preparation and revision of national standards for chemical drugs and the naming of China approved drug names.

Director Li introduced the overall situation of China's pharmaceutical standards and general situation of chemical drugs national standards. Combining with examples, she interpreted the necessity of the preparation and revision of drug national standards and the relationship between the preparation of Chinese pharmacopoeia and the improvement of national standards. She dwelled on the revision and implementation of chemical drug national standards through China approved drug names standard, safety, effectiveness and other aspects. Director Li's lectures were detailed and rich in content, which gave the inspectors an in-depth understanding of the Chinese pharmacopoeia and the national standards for chemical drugs, and provided important references for inspection.

CDE, CFDI, the Center of Beijing Drug Evaluation and 22 provincial drugs inspectorates from the whole country synchronously watching through video system participated in the training, totally more than 360 person participated in the training.
