In order to promote the capacity of inspectorate, and improve the professional skills and comprehensive quality of the inspectors, CFDI held the fifth experts’ forum on June 21, 2019. Jin Fang, the doctor of State Key Lab. of Respiratory Disease (Guangzhou Medical University), was invited to give a lecture on “Research and development and production of inhalation preparation”.

Professor Jin is mainly engaged in the research of new drug dosage forms and their industrialization, and she is a member of the 9th, 10th and 11th Chinese Pharmacopoeia Commission and a member of the pharmaceutical engineering of the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association.

Professor Jin gave a comprehensive overview of the history and standard status of inhalation preparation, and revision of Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2020 edition. She introduced the characteristics, product classification, key points of research and development, clinical application and development trend of inhaled aerosols, inhaled powder aerosols and liquid preparations for atomizers and so on. Professor Jin's lecture is informative, with detailed examples, which broadens the inspector's scope of knowledge, increases the inspector's knowledge reserve and provides important reference for relevant inspection work.

CFDI, CDE, the Center of Beijing Drug Certification, the Center of Beijing Drug Evaluation and 21 provincial drugs inspectorates from the whole country synchronously watching through video system participated in the training, totally more than 280 person participated in the training.
