In order to promote the capacity of inspectorate, and improve the professional skills and comprehensive quality of the inspectors, CFDI held the first experts’ forum on June 9, 2020. Zhang Benliang, partner and executive director of Beijing Zhuohai Law Firm, was invited to give a lecture on “Several Legal Issues in Drug Inspection”.

Lawyer Zhang first introduced the relevant laws and regulations of drug inspection, explained the legal positioning of inspection work in responsibility scope, job positioning and inspector management system, analyzed the legal responsibility of inspection work in detail, and interpreted the conflict of interest and confidentiality obligation in inspection work. Lawyer Zhang's in-depth interpretation of laws and regulations has enhanced the inspector's legal thinking and provided a legal ground for inspector's strict administration in accordance with the law.

Lawyer Zhang is the external legal consultant of NMPA and CFDI. He has rich experience in the field of drug supervision and law.

CFDI and 27 provincial drugs inspectorates synchronously watching through video system participated in the training, totally more than 500 person participated in the training.
