In order to promote the capacity of inspectorate, and improve the professional skills and comprehensive quality of the inspectors, CFDI held the third experts’ forum on October 20, 2020. Dong Yinmao, professor of Beijing Technology and Business University, was invited to give a lecture on “Current situation and prospect of new technology of Cosmetics industry in China”.

Professor Dong introduced the definition and attribute of cosmetics in combination with Regulations on supervision and Administration of Cosmetics the newly issued by the State Council, reviewed the development history of cosmetics industry at home and abroad, looked forward to the development trend of cosmetics market, and introduced the direction and new technology of cosmetics scientific research. Professor Dong's lecture was full of details, vivid and inspiring, which enhanced the inspector's knowledge reserve and laid a foundation for better inspection work.

Professor Dong is currently the director of the Beijing Key Laboratory of Plant Resources Research and Development at Beijing Technology and Business University, the Director of the China Key Laboratory of Light Industry Cosmetics, and the Director of the China Collaborative Innovation Center for Cosmetics. He has rich research experience in the cosmetics industry and regulatory science.

CFDI and 24 provincial drugs inspectorates synchronously watching through video system participated in the training, totally more than 280 person participated in the training.
