On March 11, 2021, under the guidance of the Department of Drug Regulation, Department of Science, Technology and International Cooperation of NMPA, CFDI held an online cooperation exchange meeting with Russian Federation State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices.

China and Russia briefed each other on the work responsibilities of their respective institutions and the implementation of inspections, and initially discussed possible further cooperation. And they reached an agreement on signing the cooperation agreement, laying the foundation for orderly promotion of good cooperation and information sharing between the two sides. The exchange meeting enhanced mutual understanding in the field of drug supervision and inspection. Both sides agreed that the following cooperation will play a good role in enhancing the international influence of drug inspection in the two countries and improving their inspection capabilities. Th e meeting was chaired by Dong Jiangping, Deputy Director of the Center.

Relevant personnel from the Department of Drug Regulation, Department of Science, Technology and International Cooperation of NMPA and CFDI attended the meeting.
