In order to promote the capacity of inspectorate, and continuously improve the professional skills and comprehensive quality of the inspectors, CFDI held the third experts’ forum on June 3rd, 2021 . Gao Mengqiu,Medicine Doctor and Chief Physician of the Beijing Chest Hospital. Capital Medical University, was invited and gave a lecture with the topic of “Tuberculosis and Tuberculosis related clinical trials ".

Doctor Gao gave a comprehensive introduction to the global epidemic situation of tuberculosis, the characteristics of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and tuberculosis, explained in detail the diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis, and shared the research and development cases of anti-tuberculosis drugs based on work experience. Doctor Gao’s lectures were rich in content and detailed cases, allowing inspectors to have a comprehensive understanding of the development of tuberculosis and anti-tuberculosis drugs, having important guiding value for the inspection of anti-tuberculosis drugs. At the same time, detailed answers were given to the questions raised by the inspectors.

Doctor Gao has long been engaged in the clinical and research work of tuberculosis. She has rich clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of drug-resistant tuberculosis and the treatment of adverse reactions of anti-tuberculosis drugs. She has participated in and presided over a number of national-level research projects on anti-tuberculosis drugs and diagnostic reagents. She has deep research experience in diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis and related diseases, and clinical trials of drugs, and has won many major national awards.

CFDI, Yangtze River Delta sub center for drug evaluation and inspection ofNMPA and 24 provincial drugs inspectorates synchronously watching through video system participated in the training; totally more than 380 people participated in the training.
