According to the “Letter on the US FDA’s Request to Convene Relevant Meetings” (CFDA External Letters [2016] No. 211) delivered by the Department of International Cooperation, Deputy Director Dong Jiangping of CFDI, entrusted by Director Ding Jianhua, met with FDA China Office Director Dr. S. Leigh Verbois (Guli) and medical officer Ms Wang Lixia at CFDI. The two sides held a friendly and fruitful discussion on the cooperation intention of hosting GMP and GCP seminars, creating long-term communication mechanism and training inspectors.

Directors from the CFDI Division of International Inspection, Division of Quality Management, Division of Research Inspection and Division of Drug and Cosmetics Inspection and relevant inspectors also attended the meeting.
