CFDI Held the Training Class for Overseas Inspectors of 2017

The Center for Food and Drug Inspection of CFDA (CFDI) held the Training Class for Overseas Inspectors of 2017 in Beijing during May 16 to May 18. Ding Jianhua, the Director of Department of Drug and Cosmetics Registration and the Director of CFDI attended the opening ceremony and delivered an important speech.

Director Ding Jianhua affirmed the achievements of overseas drug inspection in recent 7 years, and put forward three requirements on the inspectors: Firstly, to pay highly attention to overseas inspection in their minds and perform their duties strictly; secondly, constantly strengthen learning and practices, further improve the professional quality and obtain the ability to discover problems and risks; thirdly, to further enhance the concept of conducting inspection based on risks.

In the training class, Division Head Cui Hao of Department of Drug and Cosmetics Registration raised requirements for drug inspection of 2017 and Division Head Wang Jiawei of Department of International Cooperation interpreted the policies on foreign affairs in overseas inspection and emphasized the disciplines in foreign affairs.

This training class closely centered on the work focuses in drug inspection of 2017 and stayed focused on the hot spots in the field of drug inspection home and abroad, including data integrity, simulation of aseptic processing, biochemical drugs in GMP appendixes, methods to effectively obtain evidences during inspections, sharing and training of inspection techniques, etc. Inspectors and experts who were about to carry out overseas drug inspection tasks of 2017 participated in the training. After the training, all inspectors would leave for tracking inspection of drugs.
